Tousled Wave: How to Get the Wavy Hair Look

Start clean.

To begin your wavy tousled hair look, wash hair with TRESemmé Perfectly (un)Done Shampoo and condition with TRESemmé Perfectly (un)Done Conditioner to prepare your hair with body and texture. Guard your tresses with TRESemmé Platinum Strength Heat Spraythen blow-dry your hair.

Use a hair wand to create waves.

Wrap 1-1.5-inch sections of hair around a hair wand to create a soft tousled wave all over your hair. As you wrap the hair around the hair wand, leave the ends out. This will help form a wave instead of curl.

Apply salt spray for texture.

Generously apply some of the TRESemmé (un)Done Sea Salt Spray to add texture to your hair.

Scrunch hair.

Cup your hair ends into your hands and scrunch to enhance texture. Allow the hair to air-dry or use a blowdryer with a diffuser attached to speed up the drying process.

Set with hairspray.

To finished your tousled hair look, finish off with TRESemmé Climate Protection Finishing Spray to prevent frizz and to lock your look in place.
