What’s In My Hair Today: Conditioning Mist

Miriam Herst | 18 September 2016

Super soft locks are in your future.

I’m a spa night lover just as much as the next girl and will take any excuse for testing out a new seasonally appropriate shade of nail polish and setting aside some time to use a conditioning mist and blow out my hair. There’s nothing like settling into bed with freshly painted nails, a Netflix marathon running, and the knowledge that my hair will be looking ‘done’ with little to no effort for the next few days. Ever since I ombréd my hair, I see it as a constant accessory that I can count on even on the days when my makeup isn’t on point and I’m falling back on my favorite, well-worn black dress. When all else fails, at least my hair is making a statement.

Conditioning Mist What You Need to Know

And yet, there are some nights when an already long week starts to feel even longer, round four of dry shampoo just isn’t an option, and even the thought of picking up my blowdryer feels like too much.

Last night was one of those nights and I unraveled my last-ditch French braid efforts on my unwashed hair, washed and conditioned it, brushed out the knots, and sprayed some of the Nexxus New York Salon Care Humectress Luxe Lightweight Conditioning Mist from my roots to my ends. I comb this lightweight product throughout my hair, chose a baby blue shade of nail polish, and proceed to overdose on Netflix and fall asleep with wet hair – the dreaded outcome of exhaustion that usually results in waking up with a lot of damage control ahead of me.

The results? This morning I woke up with smooth, soft, straight strands – hair that very much resembles the results of my blowdrying routine. Hair that looks ‘done.’ No damage control necessary, just silky strands that I can’t stop running my fingers through. Enriched with Concentrated Elastin Protein and Glycerine, I love how this formula rehydrated and strengthened by hair without having to do much!
