Easy Curly Braided Updo to Try at Home
Start with Clean Hair
Unless you’re into rocking second-day hair on your big date (equally awesome too, btw), we like fashioning an updo with strands that have some grip. Washing hair can help rid your locks of buildup and sebum, two things that can contribute to stringiness and limpness. We like the non-stripped feel we get from TRESemmé Purify & Replenish Shampoo and Conditioner. Rinse well, then towel-dry.

Moisturize Your Ends
Smooth down the ends of your hair with some Nexxus Clean & Pure Nourishing Detox 5-in-1 Invisible Hair Oil to keep them from splaying out.
Start a French braid.
Grip the hair from your hairline/fringe section, and begin a French braid from your partline outwards.
Gather hair into a high pony.
Incorporate the rest of your hair into your grip and gather all your strands into a high ponytail. You can adjust the height of your pony as you like, or as your neckline allows. Ed’s tip: We love a high ponytail for higher necklines and a nape-hugging pony for deeper cuts.
Finish with hairspray.
A well-meaning spritz of hairspray, such as TRESemmé Volume Thickening Spray, helps seal in the look and keeps your hairstyle protected against any sudden winter winds. You’re done!
