NYFW SS’23: Fluffy Bow Hairstyle from Batsheva

Add a touch of drama to your style.

All Things Hair went backstage at NYFW SS’23 to get a front-row seat as Justine Marjan created a fluffy bow style at Batsheva. “We wanted to lean into the uniqueness and individuality of each model and embrace their natural texture, ” says Marjan, TRESemmé Global Stylist. “The hero look is half up with an oversized bow that matches the collection.”

Step 1: Prep your hair.

Start by prepping your hair with TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Shine Serum to add a dose of silky shine to your strands. A little bit goes a long way with this serum, so start slow and build the product as needed. Distribute the serum through your strands and then brush through for silky smooth hair with natural movement.

Step 2: Create soft waves.

If you want to add more texture to your hair, use a flatiron to create a soft and subtle wave. Bend the flat iron in alternating directions to create a natural-looking soft texture. Let the waves cool before moving on to the next step!

Step 3: Gather your hair.

Smooth TRESemmé Extra Hold Hair Gel through the front pieces of your hair using your fingers. After that, gather the sides of your hair at the back of the head, leaving the bottom of your hair down around your face.

Step 4: Secure the style.

Secure the section of gathered hair with an elastic and slide the elastic down slightly, so the hair sits below the round of the head. This will create a softer and looser effect.

Step 5: Finishing touches.

Finally, finish the look with TRESemmé TRES Two Extra Hold Hair Spray. Use a toothbrush or hair comb to smooth any flyaways or loose strands. Add a bow to the back and secure!
