Start with detangled hair.

Create a ponytail.
Smooth hair up towards to center of your crown and gather your hair into a ponytail. Use a hair neutral-colored hair elastic to secure. Don’t tie it too tight to avoid tension around your hairline.
Begin twisting hair.
Now it’s time to begin your twist. Split the length of your ponytail into two equal parts and coil each section down to the ends.
Secure ends.
Fasten the ends of your hair with a hair elastic. This will prevent your twist from unfurling.
