Party Hair: Chic Twist Updo for Natural Hair
Wash and section.
To begin creating your party hair, you’ll need clean and well moisturized curls. Wash hair with Suave Professionals Moroccan Infusion Shine Shampoo and condition with Suave Professionals Moroccan Infusion Shine Conditioner. Section your hair with a rat-tail comb to prepare your hair for styling.

Apply gel and create flat twist.
Clip away your top section and begin working on the back. Split the back section into two to create your flat twist. Before you begin your twist, apply some of the TRESemmé Flawless Curls Defining Gel along the base to smooth hair down. Then create a flat twist on each side. Secure the ends of your twist with an elastic hair tie.

Create two-strand twists.
Secure the back of your hair with a silk scarf to help keep your hair down. Release the top section of your hair and create small to medium two-strand twist throughout the entire section. As you twist, use a detangling brush to help smooth the hair and twist down to the ends.

Apply styling oil.
Use Suave Professionals Moroccan Infusion Styling Oil to moisturize your curls before loosening. Also apply a pump of the oil to the back section of your hair to moisturize and add shine.

Undo twists and fluff.
Undo your twist and use your fingers to separate the curls. Fluff at the roots with an afro pick or your fingers to create volume.

Done.
Here’s your finished style! Use some bobby pins to help your hair lay in the direction you want it to fall. To preserve the style, simply retiwst at night and cover with a silk scarf.
