Step 4: Section hair and add curls.

How to curl your hair? Beginning at the back of the head, take a medium section of hair and wrap it around your hair wand. Hold hair in place for a few seconds and release. Repeat this step for the remaining sections. Once all of your hair is curled, allow it to cool for a few seconds before moving on to the next step. You’ll have lots of loose curls.

Step 5: Separate curls.

Warm a styling oil like Suave Moroccan Infusion Styling Oil into your hands then apply it onto the surface of your hair to add shine then pull as many curls apart as you can to create the big hair effect. Take your afro pick or a wide-tooth comb and give your roots a bit of lift.
