Step 1: Start with your natural hair out
Start with clean hair in its natural state. Generously distribute a styling cream such as Dove Amplified Textures Define N’ Moisture Styling Gel throughout the hair to help make styling easier while keeping your coils nourished.
Step 2: Split your hair into a middle part
Use a tail comb to assist in splitting your hair into a middle part. This will make it easier to form the bubble braid pigtails on both sides of your mane. Step 3: Form two afro-puff pigtails
After splitting your hair into a middle part, form two afro-puffs to act as a base for your bubble braid pigtails.

Once your hair is in afro-puffs, you can begin “bubbling” your hair by tying your hair into ponytail sections every few centimeters until you reach the end of the braid.
