Refresh, then part hair.
Starting at the crown of your hair, create a part down the center with a rat tail comb, dividing the hair into two equal sections on the left and right side. If you don’t have a comb, you can get away with using your fingers as the part will be hidden and doesn’t need to be perfect.
Split hair into two.
Once you have your two sections, hold onto each side and proceed to the next step.
Tie hair into a knot.
Combine the two sections into one, by tying them together. Simply create a knot by crossing the right section of hair over the left and pull both sections to tighten.
Wrap hair around.
Take a 1″ section of hair from the outer right side and wrap it around the base of your ponytail, right below the knot.
Secure with pins.
Insert pins into your hair to secure it in place. This will also hide any ends that may be visible.
