Believe it or not, all you need to make this shipwrecked finger waves at home is four drugstore products and four steps. Below is a step-by-step guide to help you achieve this mesmerizing look.

There is a deconstructed element to this collection. In speaking with Jason Wu, I wanted to create a look that felt like the models just emerged from a shipwreck. The TRESemmé products allowed us to achieve a wet, nearly drenched appearance without sacrificing the fluid movement of the natural hair texture.

Step 1: The first step is to divide the hair into smaller sections: four on the bottom and four on the top. Then, spray each section with water using a spray bottle. Once dampening each section, apply a lot of TRESemmé TRES Two Mega Firm Control Gel until the hair is soaked. After that, use a comb to distribute the gel from root to end.

Step 2: Now that the hair is sectioned and drenched in gel, apply TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Shine Serum throughout to impart shine and a reflective, wet look. Then, scrunch a little bit of TRESemmé Tres Two Extra Hold Mousse for Frizz Control into each section of the hair to add texture and hold.

Step 3: After prepping the hair, make a deep side part with a finger wave swoop across the forehead. Use a rat tail comb to make the part and wave quickly. After this step, simply B=brush the rest of the hair behind the ear.

PRO TIP: Set the wave in place with a cover clip and remove it once dry.

Step 4: Finish the look with TRESemmé Tres Two Ultra Fine Hairspray for natural control. This spray will set the amazing finger waves without leaving the hair stiff.
