Vampire Hair May Be Your Solution for Thinning Hair

Finally, a solution for hair loss.

With the rise in popularity of plastic surgery and filler, beauty procedures have become a norm today. If there’s something you want to change about yourself and there’s a way you’re able to, many people have opted to take the leap and make that change. When it comes to hair, there aren’t as many procedures available. However, vampire hair is a procedure that may be changing the hair game when it comes to achieving thicker strands.

The vampire hair treatment is platelet-rich plasma (PRP) procedure that can have the ability to treat hair loss and stimulate hair growth. Keep scrolling to learn more about this treatment and find out if it’s good for you.

Learn how the PRP treatment works to promote hair growth.

How it Works

It’s actually true! The PRP treatment uses your own blood to help you achieve thicker hair. To start, your doctor will draw blood from your arm like normal. After that, the blood is placed into a machine that will spin it, causing the red blood cells and plasma to separate. Blood is made up of two components: Red blood cells and plasma. The plasma has white blood cells in it, which help promote growth. Therefore, the growth caused by the vampire hair treatment will stimulate the hair follicles, helping new hair grow.

Next, after the blood is separated, the plasma is injected into the scalp at the same level as your hair follicles. The process includes many injections. You’ll need one injection about every half-inch over the thinning spot of hair. We know this may sound a bit intense, but this procedure is actually fairly quick; it takes just about 30 minutes to do.

Vampire Hair Treatment Risks

Luckily for you, if you’re want to try out this treatment, there are little to no risks involved. However, if you’re worried about any pain, you can ask your doctor to numb your scalp.  The biggest side effect you may experience is bruising. Plus, any bruising will go away in about a week.

How Long Vampire Hair Results Take

In conclusion, the first result many patients see from the vampire hair treatment is a decrease in hair loss and shedding. However, consistency is crucial to keep seeing results over time. It’s recommended to receive treatment once a month for the first three to four months. After that, you can go every three to six months depending on how you respond to PCP.

Using a thickening spray, like TRESemmé Volumizing Hair Thickening Spray to help add a boost of volume to your strands. For the most lift, concentrate the spray at your roots.
