Everything You Need to Know About Rose Hip Oil

What is Rosehip Oil?

Use rosehip oil to nourish your strands.

Rosehip grows from the wild rose bushes of South America. This berry ripens once the rose flower has bloomed and lost its petals. Rosehip isn’t edible but it’s nature’s gift to your beauty and hair care routine. It consists of vitamins, antioxidants and essential fatty acids your hair and skin can benefit from. Women have used it for years to hydrate their skin and to help reduce fine lines.

Rosehip has also been said to help with hair loss. It may be effective at renewing the hair follicles, encouraging hair growth over time. While there isn’t much evidence, it doesn’t hurt to try and see if it works for you.

How to Use Rosehip Oil for Hair

There are many ways you can use rosehip in your hair care routine. However, one of our favorite ways is in an actual oil form. We love using Love Beauty and Planet Rose & Almond Natural Oils Infusion. This oil is great because it helps quench dry strands and tame flyaways.
