In a season of scarves, cowboy hats, and baker boy caps, be a beret. We definitely aren’t hating on any Fall hair accessories; this is the time to amp up your style! As the weather is finally cooler, it’s time to experiment with all of the incredible hats that have been trending. If you’re in the market for a new accessory but don’t want something incredibly structured that will leave you at risk of hat hair, then go for Fall berets. The beret is the perfect Fall addition to your hairstyle! There are so many fun colors to choose from and it will work with any kind of style you’re trying to achieve.

We don’t know about you, but we are definitely on the hunt for as many Fall berets as we can get our hands on. Here are some quick faves:

Fall Berets that Take Any Look to the Next Level of Chic

Curled hair and a Fall beret is a match made in heaven.

Wear it with a curl.

As we mentioned before, berets are great with any hairstyle since they’re light and will move to fit your look. One of our favorite styles to pair with this cap is a tight curl. Bouncy curls add a level of fun and sophistication to the look and by day two and three they will loosen into perfect waves, what could be better? Use a curling iron to create wider and tight curls so that they almost become ringlets. Once you’re finished, lock the look in place with a hair spray that caters to curls, like TRESemmé Flawless Curls Hair Spray.

Just because you’re wearing a cap doesn’t mean you can’t wear your hair up, too!

Add in an updo.

What’s great about Fall berets is that they also serve as a comfortable way to hide dirty hair in between washes. Conceal greasy strands by wearing a beret and create a chic low bun. Since your hair is dirty and going up, take this time to nourish your strands with a hair oil. Apply a few drops of For Every Hair Type Revitalizing Hair Oil to the ends of your strands to hydrate your hair and give it some shine. Put your hair up into a twisted low bun and finish with your beret.
