Start with clean hair.
When styling your hair, you’ll need to wash and condition it to ensure that it gets proper moisture. Try out the Dove Oxygen Moisture Shampoo followed by Dove Oxygen Moisture Conditioner. Once dry, prep your hair with some TRESemmé Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Spray. Then blow-dry your hair straight, if needed.
Create soft waves with a hair wand.
Curl 1-inch subsections of hair with a hair wand to create your soft waves.
Pincurl as you style.
To lock your curls, and to keep hair out of the way as you style, pincurl hair as you go. Want to learn how to do this step? Check out our easy pincurl tutorial.
Allow pincurls to cool.
Once you’re done with the curl and pincurl steps, allow hair to cool for a few minutes.
Let your pincurls down and gently brush through your curls to separate and create your soft hair waves.
Finish your style with a hairspray that provides a flexible hold like Dove Style + Care Strength and Shine Flexible Hold Hairspray
