Happy International Women’s Day! Let’s Celebrate with a Fierce Style Round-Up

Celebrate Women's Month with a Major Style Change.

The month of March is Women’s Month, and March 8th is officially International Women’s Day! Although we think every day of the year is Women’s Day, we can’t lie that we’re happy we have a whole month and a specific day, even, where we can really celebrate. Take this time to spread the love to your moms, besties, sisters, and other ladies in your life that you appreciate.

While you’re at it, don’t forget to give yourself some love and treat yourself. We’ve rounded up some looks we’ve been loving and are declaring them our International Women’s Day Styles of 2019 that we all need to know about.

Maybe it’s time to try something new, and we’re here to show you some killer options. Read on:

1. Statement Hat

If you’ve been eyeing a bold hat or maybe have had one sitting in your closet but have been too nervous to wear it, now’s the time! Statement hats, along with bold accessories in general, have been the center of attention recently. This style is so easy to achieve and doesn’t require altering your hair in any way.

2. Long Bangs

Bangs are an itch that everyone gets at least once, it’s unavoidable. If you’ve been considering going for the chop, we highly recommend making it a long bang style. We love how sultry and sophisticated these bangs are as they almost cover your eyes. Another plus, if you grow tired of them quickly, they’re already fairly long and can be grown out faster.

3. Air-Dried

Air-dried and naturally you is always a good decision. Learning to love your natural texture and hair type is important and what better way than to make an air-dried look one of your International Women’s Day styles? Just because you’re letting your hair dry naturally doesn’t mean you can’t introduce some hair products into the mix to give it the best possible outcome. While your hair is damp, add some styling mousse to make sure your strands are frizz free and on point. One of our current faves is Suave Professionals Natural Volume Mousse, it provides a free-flowing natural style and lifts from your roots to provide volume.

4. Classic Bob

The classic bob will never go out of style. Go for the chop and you won’t be sorry! There are so many different ways to style this cut and we love how sexy yet mature the length is. We definitely recommend this cut if you have particularly damaged strands and are in need of hitting the reset button.

5. Afro

An afro is one of our fave International Women’s Day looks (and for every day, tbh) because it’s the perfect mix of natural, healthy, and voluminous. This style is always fresh and commands a room. Keep your curls hydrated and happy throughout the day with a pump of Bed Head by TIGI On The Rebound Curl Recall Cream.

6. Loose Waves

When it comes to International Women’s Day styles, you can’t leave out the ever popular loose waves. Majority of women use this as a go-to style and crave perfect, effortless waves. If you really want to nail the style, finish with TRESemmé Compressed Micro Mist Hairspray Smooth Hold Level 2 to keep your style in tact all day and give it an extra smooth finish.
