Easy Honeymoon Hairstyles to Whip Together
1. Triple Bun Updo
Want a super simple style that looks time-consuming and elegant? Just stack some buns into your hair. That’s it! For whatever reason, going from one bun to three buns instantly makes any style more elegant. Just separate your hair into three even sections and wrap into buns at the nape of your neck. Finish off your style with a few spritz of TRESemmé Climate Protection Finishing Spray. It’ will keep your hair and style protected from the elements.
2. Unicorn Braid Ponytail
Want to take a simple ponytail and make it something special? Make it into a unicorn braid ponytail! If you can do a three-strand braid you can do this style. Tame any frizz and add some shine by finishing the look with some Suave Professionals Anti-Frizz Smooth & Shine Cream. Follow our tutorial for a complete step-by-step tutorial on how to do a unicorn braid.
3. Accent Braided Half-Updo
This style has south of the equator written all over it. We love it because it keeps your hair out of your face while also being super stylish. Follow our tutorial to recreate this half-up braided look. Don’t forget to pack your mini hair ties!
4. Three-Strand Braid
There is always a time and a place for a three-strand braid. We love how much easier it is to create voluminous-looking braids, even when you don’t have tons of hair. Start this style by enhancing that beachy look and scrunching in some sea salt spray. It will also help to give your braid a little grit. Braid it down and massage your braid to make it take up more space.
5. Easy Bow Bun
If you’re down for a date night or a fun special event during your honeymoon, why not try this bow bun? It’s a little quirky and a whole lot of cute. We’ve got two different bow bun tutorials, one for half-up box braids, and our tutorial for a bow bun top knot.
6. Dressed Up Ponytail
If your idea of honeymoon hairstyles looks more like an easy ponytail, this one is for you. To take your average ponytail and make it a little chicer, we have two extra steps for you. First, apply a little TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Serum to your wet hair and blow-dry. The serum will help to make your hair shiny, smooth and frizz-free (even in humidity). Then, pull your hair into a low pony and secure. The last thing is to wrap a small section of hair around the ponytail holder to make the look that much more sophisticated.
7. The Easy Peasy Twist
For another two second update to an easy look, try out the twist. You can add twists into just about every hairstyle, we’re big fans of ’em! If you like to pull back small sections of your hair, just give them a good twist before securing in place. If you want to get fancier, stack a few twists into your hair for a half-updo.
8. Bobby Pin Barrette
To take your hair out of your face with style, stack a few bobby pins. We like to use contrasting colors or metallic bobby pins. Even three bobby pins would be enough to make this look work.
