Put a Pop of Color in Your Pony with Some Extensions!

A non-committal pop of color is a win-win.

Changing your hair color with dye is no easy task: it requires bleach, patience, unavoidable damage, and if you’re going to a professional, a good amount of moolah. We love a good hair color switch up, it’s refreshing and fun, but the dyeing process isn’t for everyone. If you’ve been wanting to add a pop of color to your look but not willing to make the commitment of dyeing your hair that color, there’s a solution. Christian Siriano inspired us to try ponytail extensions as a quick solution to adding some color to your style. Siriano sent models down his NYFW SS 2020 runway with slicked-back ponytails that had pops of blue and pink with the help of some extensions.

We’ll take you through how TRESemmé Global Stylist Justine Marjan created this chic style for the show to help you hack your way to a very temporary way of adding some bright color to your hairstyle.

Step 2: Slick Hair

Step 5: Flat Iron, Round 2

Flat iron through the length of the ponytail and use TRESemmé Smooth Dry Oil Spray.

Step 6: Set
