1. Medium-Length Wavy Hair
A simple hairstyle that is anything but that we are expecting to see a ton of this spring. Medium-length hair is the perfect transitional length to try out if you want to lose some length but don’t want to go too short. It pairs amazingly with natural textures–whether you have wavy or straight hair–that we love with a subtle swooping part.
2. Wavy Highlights
We can’t get enough of how all of the goodness that’s going on with this hairstyle. This combination of natural (or crafted waves) and subtle peekaboo highlights really sets the tone for this modern look. A must-try option for spring.
3. Embracing Curls
Curlfriend, this is your season to rock your natural curls and feel confident about it! We love this look, as seen at NYFW, that was all about defined and moveable curls. To create this look at home, apply some Bed Head by TIGI on the Rebound Curl Recall Cream, onto your dry or damp hair that’ll work to reform curls, making them soft and manageable.
4. Short Top
Another option in the ’embrace your curls category’ is the short top curls that was rocking on the runway. We loved seeing this focus of layered short curls that acclimated towards the front with some fluffy texture throughout.
5. Red Waves
One color that’s been getting increasingly popular is red hair that we’ve seen in tons of variations from pumpkin spice hair tones to bright blood orange hues. Whatever shade of red that you decide to get, be sure to use a color-safe shampoo and conditioner duo, like Suave Professionals Color Protection Shampoo and the Suave Professionals Color Protection Conditioner. to help retain your red hair color a little longer.
6. Light Buzz
And then there were the short hair trends that we adored on the runway that featured a combination of bobs, pixies and modern buzz cuts. One particular favorite was the light buzz variation with its focus on a shaving off a light dusting of hair, which could be ideal if you don’t want to go for a full-on scalp exposure.
7. Baby Afro
Loving this teeny weeny fro that we saw at NYFW with its ode to simplicity and style. Pair this look with a bold eyeshadow and you have one fierce look for 2017.
NYFW was run rampant with so many ponytails and we’re upset about that at all. This classic style is not going away but we love how the stylists’ reinvented this look, showcasing everything from day-to-night sleek ponytails and deep side part ponytails and more.
9. Middle Part
Another trend that we saw all over NYFW was the was the middle part. Worn with stick straight hair or on a wavy mane, this look is all about a controlled part that showcases the symmetry of your face.

16. Middle-Parted Romantic Ponytail
We mentioned how the ponytail reigned supreme at NYFW. And while the slicked-back look is typically connected to sleek styles, we loved this variation on that trend where we saw a middle-parted slick ponytail at the Jonathan Simkhai show. With a focus on wavy ends and a sleek base, you’ll need TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Serum to ensure that your hair stays shiny and smooth.
