1. Secure your hair in a ponytail and divide your hair into three even sections.

2. Take the right section with your right hand and the left section with your left hand. Leave the middle section to hang free.

3. Cross the left section over the middle section. Use your index finger and thumb of your left hand and grab the middle section of hair.

4. Use your index finger and thumb of your right hand to grab the left section of hair that’s grasped against your left palm. The original left-hand section should now be in the middle of the braid.

5. Continue braiding in this manner. When you reach the ends of your hair, finish off by securing your braid with an elastic band.
