Loose Waves with a Sleek Middle Path

Love a sleek middle path but not sure how to rock it? Our ATH Girl, Tayla shows us how to create a stunner sleek middle path with loose waves. All you need to create the look are a pair of curling tongs, a wide-tooth comb, a clear elastic band, and a few must-have TRESemmé styling products.

Keep reading to find out how to get the look.

STEP 1: Protect from the heat!

Start by parting your hair down the middle and lightly spray the TRESemmé Heat Defence Spray through the lengths of your hair. This will help protect your strands from the heat during styling.

STEP 2: Curl

Next, curl your hair using a pair of curling tongs. Curl from the middle of your hair down to create soft, loose waves.
Top tip: Curl your hair away from your face to help frame your face.

STEP 3: Set the look

Once you’re finished curling all of your hair, set the look using the TRESemmé Firm Hold Hairspray. Spray the hairspray throughout your entire head of hair.

STEP 4: Comb through

Now that your hair is completely cool, gently comb through the curls with a wide-tooth comb to loosen them up and create a more wavy look.

STEP 5: Section & secure

Use your comb to section a piece of hair from your middle path, down your ear to the nape of your neck — make sure that this section is separated from the other hair. Repeat this process on either side of your head. Once done, take a small clear elastic band and secure those two pieces of hair together at the back of your head.

For an ultra-sleek look, secure your hair with the TRESemmé Hairspray one last time. Spray the two front pieces of hair to keep them sleek and in place.

STEP 6: Neaten up

Lastly, neaten up the length of your hair with the comb or your fingers and you’re good to go! A simple and sultry Sleek Middle Path style.
