Whether you’re short on time or have the time, the bun is one of our favorite easy hairstyles that can be anything from messy to chic, depending on what look you’re going for. During the Monse show for New York Fashion Week, this was quite clear in the twisted bun hairstyle that combined elegance with ease. To get the look, TRESemmé’s Global Stylist, Odile Gilbert shared the steps and key products to use so that you can easily create this style at home.

Tutorial: How to Create a Twisted Bun
Step 1: Wash your hair.
Start by washing your hair with TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Color Shampoo and TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Color Conditioner to achieve radiant shine and vibrancy, smoothing hair from root to tip.
Step 2: Apply some mousse.
Apply TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume Mousse on wet hair, spreading through with your fingers from root to tip.
Step 3: Apply some mist.
Spray some hair mist onto your roots and proceed to blow the hair dry with a diffuser.
Step 4: Create a ponytail.
Bring the hair into a ponytail and apply TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume Hair Maximizer on the tips. Fasten ponytail with an elastic.
Step 5: Divide your ponytail.
Divide the ponytail in half and twist and wrap the first half around the elastic fastening with a bobby pin and repeat the same step on the second half of the ponytail.
Step 6: Lock in your style.
