SS20 hairstyles you can actually wear IRL.

As New York Fashion Week comes to an end, we take a look at the runway hair trends that created the biggest buzz. So, if you want to stay one step ahead of all your friends, read on to discover which SS20 hairstyles are worth noting and how to wear them.

’70s Glam at Tommy Hilfiger

Euphoria actress Zendaya presented her second collection with Tommy Hilfiger as part of the TOMMYNOW series, and as you can expect, the show was full of inspirational looks.

Continuing the love for ’70s styles, models boogied their way down the runway dressed in fun and flirty jumpsuits, in an array of prints from polka dots to plaid. In true Zendaya style, there was a collection of perfectly tailored power suits for both men and women.

But what about the hair? Sticking to the ’70s theme, hair was styled big and bold with lots of natural, air-dried texture. Side partings helped to give extra volume and added bounce to curled styles.

If you’re not blessed with a mass of gorgeous curls, you’ll be pleased to know that poker straight strands also ruled the catwalk. Think Cher with a centre parting and a glossy finish.

Editor’s tip: Keep your curls extra nourished with the TRESemmé Botanique Nourish & Replenish Hydrating Mist.

The TRESemmé Botanique Nourish & Replenish Hydrating Mist smoothes, conditions and gently detangles to leave hair beautifully hydrated and ready for styling.

Mist liberally over damp hair from roots to ends and run your fingers or a wide-toothed comb through your hair to detangle.

Deep Side Sweep at Michael Kors

If the ’70s aren’t your era, then why not channel chic ’80s supermodel vibes with a deep side parting.

Seen on the Michael Kors runway, models including Gigi and Bella Hadid powered down the catwalk in preppy, all American outfits with striped blazers, gingham two-pieces and extravagant shoulder detailing, adding to the ’80s aesthetic.

Hair was left long and loose, with statement-making deep side pars. Sounds simple right? That’s because it is. Try this super easy hairstyle when you need a fresh new look that requires zero effort.

Scarfs at Rag & Bone

From the Rag & Bone, Alice + Olivia and Jonathan Cohen runway, models were spotted with polished scarf-adorned hairstyles. The best thing about this look? Everyone can try it.

Wrap yours around a simple ponytail or jazz up a braided style by weaving your hair with a silk scarf. For ultimate style points, pick a bold printed design to really make your hair pop. Hair accessories to the rescue!
