Quiff on Short Hair: Easy Way to Create the Look

An easy way to get the look you’ve always wanted!

Having a short haircut can feel very limiting when it comes to styling. You may feel there’s only one or two (if you’re lucky) ways to style your hair. That, my friend, isn’t so! Guys like you can create fauxhawks, mini pompadour styles, and yes, the stylish quiff on short hair. With the help of a blowdryer to tame your hair, and some pomade to sculpt your look, creating a quiff on short hair is easier than you think!

Want to give this popular hairstyle a go? Here’s how you can create the look in just six easy steps!

Easy Way to Create a Quiff on Short Hair

1

Start off with clean hair.

Wash hair with Dove Men + Care Oxygen Charge Fortifying Shampoo to remove oil and residue from your hair before creating your quiff hairstyle.

2

Blow-dry to set your direction.

Using a round brush and a blowdryer, blow-dry your hair in a backwards direction. This is the time to direct your quiff exactly how you want it. Be sure to focus on your roots to encourage volume.

3

Apply pomade to your hair.

For a clean and structured quiff style, opt for a clay or pomade like Axe Clean Cut Look: Classic Pomade (not pictured)Use your hands to scoop up a dollop of the product.

4

Emulsify.

Before applying to your hair, mix the product in your hands.

5

Sculpt your quiff.

Rake through or smooth the product onto your hair. Then, use a comb to help create and shape your style. Since you’re creating a quiff on short hair, be sure to smooth down any cowlicks with product for a neat finish.

6

Final look.

After combing to sculpt, use your hands to create a smooth surface and you’re done. Now, it’s time to show off your new style!
