Sure, the grunge look of yesteryear was all about wearing your favorite plaid shirt around your waist as your hair moved in any which way it pleased. The modern update has a version of that vibe, but the 2016 guy is also more aware of clean and controlled ends to help keep damage and spilt ends at bay. Before you style your hair make sure to get a trim, and even a cut where you get the right length for grungy look. Consider adding some subtle layers to your hair to mix up your curly or straight locks that’ll add some incredible dimension and depth to your frame.

For curly haired guys, we like Dove Men + Care Thick & Strong Fortifying 2 in 1 Shampoo and Conditioner. This formula can help you achieve thicker, fuller and healthier hair.
Step 2: Manage your locks
Post-shower, apply some leave-in conditioner to your hair to tame any frizz or flyaways. We like Suave Keratin Infusion Heat Defense Leave-in Conditioner, which works control frizz and protect your hair during heat styling. After you apply the treatment, use a comb to lightly brush your hair.
Step 3: Blow-dry your hair
When your hair is 90% dry, use a blowdryer diffuser on your hair. This cool-looking contraption can help prevent frizz, while also maintaining your awesome curl pattern. Use a medium setting as you section off some of your hair, placing some of your hair into the diffuser. Repeat this process throughout your entire head.
