Braids Hairstyles: How To Create 3 Fresh and Easy Looks

1.Half-up middle braid

Step 1: Create section and braid.

Create a U-shaped part from temple to temple, then clip away your back section. Split your top section into two and create two French braids. Take the ends of your braids and twirl them around into a chic top knot.

Step 2: Create loose waves.

Release your back section, then prep with TRESemmé Platinum Strength Heat Spray. Take a one-inch curling iron and create soft waves away from the face. Once your hair cools, use your fingers to comb through and create a mussed-up texture.

Step 3: Finish with hairspray.

Complete your look with TRESemmé Climate Protection Finishing Spray to seal your look in place and to prevent your style from frizzing up.

2. Simple side braid

Step 1: Refresh and revive.

These kinds of braids hairstyles are best when created on lived-in hair textures. Refresh second or third-day hair with dry shampoo to begin.

Step 2: Create side ponytail.

Gather hair into a messy low side ponytail and secure with a hair elastic to secure in place.

Step 3: Braid the ends.

Braid the length of your ponytail all the way down to the ends and secure with a hair tie. Once done, pull your braid apart to loosen and to create an undone texture.

3. Double milk braid

Step 1: Pull out face-framing tendrils.

To begin, pull out tendrils at the front of your hair and clip them away.

Step 2: Part and braid.

Part your hair down the center, then gather each side into two low pigtail ponytails over your ears. Braid the ends of each ponytail and secure the ends with a hair elastic.

Step 3: Cross braids at the front.

Take each braid, bring it to the front of your hair right above your hairline and pin in place.

Step 4: Curl your face-framing bangs.

Release your tendrils and create a soft drop curl or wave using a curling iron. Set your style with Dove Style+Care Strength & Shine Flexible Hold Hairspray and you’re set!
