Ever since Zayn Malik left One Direction and went solo, all eyes have been on him (music wise and hair wise). He’s experimented with dapper short cuts, dabbled with a curtains hairstyle and most recently rocked a neon dip-dyed style for the cover of Vogue — and pulled off every look brilliantly, FYI.
And just when we thought he couldn’t surprise us any further, he’s gone shorter and back to blonde, too! Yes, you heard us right, he’s no longer got dark hair. Want to see? Just take a look below.
Zayn Malik’s blonde hair just made a stylish comeback
Lately, the Still Got Time singer has been sporting his trademark bedhead hairstyle with neon yellow dip-dyed strands, but took to Instagram to share this oddly familiar look.
When we saw the pic, we were immediately reminded of the 24-year-old’s on-and-off love affair with blonde hair, having worked golden man-lights, gone full-on platinum and even silver blonde in the past.
As you can tell, his dark flow hairstyle has been cut, left long and textured on the top, while his short sides have been faded. Then, to really bring his modern Caesar cut to life, he has dyed the top and kept his sides natural, making for an edgy, high-impact contrast!
Editor’s tip: Want to make your short cut look as textured as Zayn’s? Just use some of the Toni&Guy Men’s Texturising Fibre, which will give your locks a natural-looking texture boost and make them look ultra-stylish.
Although the star has gone brighter before, this time it’s with a much shorter, low-maintenance style and we’d lying if we didn’t say it: this is one of his best looks to date. Smart move, Zayn!
