The hair trophy goes to... ?
The Premier League football season kicked off this weekend (we warn you this may be the first of many puns) and to mark the occasion we have rounded up some of the need-to-know hairstyles from the football stars.
From bold styles to eye-catching hues, we profile the Premier League players who have got our attention, below. See them all by simply scrolling.
The Premier League footballers who need to be on your hair radar
Marouane Fellaini
The 29-year-old Belgian footballer joined Manchester United in 2013 and has since been wowing us with his awesome curly mane.
Over the years, his naturally dark brown colour has been lightened with a more golden shade and tinted with blonde tips. Credit: @fellaini
Hector Bellerin
The 22-year-old Catalonian joined Arsenal from FC Barcelona in 2011 and over the years has grown out his high fade into the ever popular flow hair.
To keep his flowing strands neatly tucked away during matches, Bellerin likes to wear his hair in braided styles, like these on-trend cornrows. Credit: @hectorbellerin
Paul Pogba
Want to go bold with your next hair look? Then this Frenchman is certainly one to watch. Not only are his skills on the pitch impressive, but the 24-year-old Manchester United player has become quite a hair chameleon, mixing in patterns and colours into taper fade.
Keep an eye out for his creative finishing touches like Chinese symbols or this ‘PP’ monogrammed style. Subtly is not Pogba’s foray. Credit: @paulpogba
Theo Walcott
The Arsenal player has been winging it with this dapper slick back hairstyle. Ditching his closely shaved buzzcut, Walcott has now opted for a more suave looking slick back style for his dark brown hair. Credit: @theowalcott
Sadio Mane
The Liverpool FC player is having the best of both colour worlds with this striker of a haircut. Using a bold line of blonde to separate the short sides of his hair from the longer top makes this mohawk style even more note worthy. Credit: @sadiomaneofficiel
Michy Batshuayi
A relatively new signing to Chelsea, 23-year-old Michy Batshuayi has been grabbing our attention with his quirky hairstyle.
And while this hairstyle is impressive in itself, Batshuayi has decided to take the look one step further by adding an ice-blonde hue to a select few of his black hair twists. Credit: @mbatshuayi
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain
The Arsenal midfielder got it right winged with this cracker of a hairstyle. Known for getting in the Little Mix of things, 23-year-old Oxlade-Chamberlain lightened the ends of his dark brown scissor fade with a golden brown shade. Credit: @alexoxchamberlain
