Hollywood heartthrob Orlando Bloom is arguably one of the most famous on-screen A-list blondes – come on, who didn’t have a crush on Legolas from Lord of the Rings?! And there’s no denying that he’s a gent who can pull off almost any hairstyle, having rocked a messy man bun, half-up man braids, and most recently, took the plunge dyeing his dark locks a bold blonde hue.

Now, however, it seems like the British actor has now decided to go back to his roots, with images of Orlando Bloom’s hair transformation surfacing from the Oscars 2017 red carpet!

The actor unveiled his new look while attending the 89th Academy Awards this weekend, and as you can see, his bright blonde hue is no more, with his locks having been dyed a much darker, striking shade of brown.

And, to bring his new mane colour to life, he’s gone for a slick and timeless quiff. We think this low-maintenance, yet ultra dapper look works particularly well for Orlando’s face shape, as well as his thick hair type!

We also noticed that, over the past few months, Orlando had been spotted on Instagram with some dark root-growth, so perhaps he was just waiting for the Hollywood event to share his new style. However, we for one are glad that he’s back to his au naturel hue!
