One Direction‘s Niall Horan is arguably one of the most famous A-list blondes, and fans will know that he’s stayed loyal to his bleached locks ever since his early X-Factor days.
Fellow band-mate Harry Styles caused mass hysteria last year when he famously chopped off his trademark shoulder-length locks, but Niall has generally stuck to the signature quiff. So, you can imagine the collective gasps across the All Things Hair office when the Niall Horan: hair transformation photos surfaced!

Niall Horan hair transformation: Bye-bye blonde locks!
The Irish singer unveiled his new look this week on a night out in London. As you can see, his trademark white-blonde locks have been dyed a shade of deep brown, and he’s also has a haircut update, by opting for a more textured, fluffy ‘do.
We’d noticed that over the past few months Niall had been spotted out and about with some dark root-growth. However, now that he’s taken the plunge and dyed his entire mane to match his root colour, he looks completely different to the fresh-faced teen we once knew!
Since One Direction announced their indefinite hiatus last year, Niall has been working hard in the studio on solo material, so could this mature makeover mark the end of his boy-band image? We think so!
