Real Madrid footballer Cristiano Ronaldo is arguably the most famous player of our time. We’re sure you’ll agree though, that almost as famous as his success on the pitch is his signature spiked-up hairstyle! Having dabbled with blonde highlights and quiffed-back looks over the years, generally speaking his spiky, gelled style (widely dubbed the ‘Ronaldo’!) has stood the test of time.
Fans will know that this weekend Real Madrid won the UEFA Champions League 4-1 against Juventus, with Ronaldo scoring 2 of those goals. And how best to celebrate the win than with a new ‘do!? The sports star has shaved all of his hair off and is now rocking a super short buzz cut style. See it for yourself, below!

The 32-year-old shared his new style with his 103 million followers on Instagram, posting the blue steel selfie above and asking fans “Do you like it???????”
As you can see, his long brunette hair and highlights have been completely shaved off, making him almost unrecognisable. He’s now rocking an allover buzz cut look, with a shorter fade detail at the sides and slightly longer crop on top. Credit: @cristiano
Ronaldo is the latest in a line of male celebs who have opted for a buzz cut recently, with stars like Nick Jonas and Justin Bieber already pioneering the skinhead style so far this year.
