What’s the Difference Between Hemp Oil and CBD?
CBD oil and hemp oil (also known as hemp seed oil) both come from the cannabis plant but are very different in their uses and benefits. Hemp seed oil is produced by cold pressing the seeds of the plant, while CBD oil is made from the whole plant, including the flowers and leaves. CBD has been traditionally used for wellness and medicinal purposes, while hemp oil is associated more with topical beauty and skincare remedies.
Hemp seed oil does not contain any cannabinoids like THC, which is the chemical responsible for causing the psychoactive effects (aka the ‘high’) associated with cannabis.
What Does Hemp Oil Do for Your Hair?
Hemp seed oil is extremely rich in good fats Omega 3 and 6, as well as containing a plethora of other hair-loving proteins, vitamins and minerals like calcium, magnesium and potassium. With a high fatty acid content, its nourishing properties make it a great choice for strengthening and conditioning hair and preventing breakage.
