Medium-length curly hairstyles by Nikki Phillippi: Daytime waves

1

Wash your hair.

Begin by washing your hair with the Dove Pure Care Dry Oil Shampoo and Conditionerto help leave your hair feeling silky and touchably-soft!

2

Apply mousse.

To prep your hair, squirt a tennis ball-sized amount of the VO5 Volume Mousse into the palm of your hand, and then scrunch your hair to distribute the product. This mousse will help to make your hair appear fuller, more volumised, and help protect it from heat damage!

3

Section your hair.

After letting your hair air dry, brush through your mane to remove any knots and tangles. Then, divide your hair horizontally into 2 equal sections. Clip the top half out of the way for now (we’ll come back to it later!).

4

Curl your hair.

Working with 2 inch-wide sections of hair at a time, curl the bottom section of your hair with a curling wand or tong. Then, release the top section, and curl all of that hair, too!

Tip: To achieve sultry beachy waves, Nikki likes to curl each section of hair in a different direction. She also leaves the very ends of her hair straight, for a more natural look.

5

Curl your bangs (optional).

If you have a long fringe, curl it away from your face to create a sweeping wave. Then, clip your fringe to the side of your head until it has completely cooled.

6

Set your curls.

Help set your curls in place with some trusty TRESemmé Perfectly (un)Done Ultra Brushable HairsprayThis product doesn’t dry sticky or make your hair feel hard, so you can run your fingers through your strands after spraying, to loosen up your curls.

7

Final look.

And just like that, the first of your medium-length curly hairstyles is complete! Now go and show off those voluptuous curls!

Medium length curly hairstyles by Nikki Phillippi: Elegant evening look

1

Re-curl any flat strands.

After a whole day of showing off your gorgeous wavy ‘do, your mane may need a little refreshing before your evening out! So, to take your hairstyle from day to night, start by lightly brushing through your strands to smooth them. Then, re-curl any sections of hair that need a little boost, but this time, curl all of your hair in the same direction.

2

Create a twist

Next, take a small section of hair from near the right side of your forehead, and divide it into 2 smaller sections. Twist the sections around each other, to create a hair twist. Then, wrap this twist around the back of your head and pin it into place.

Create another twist, but this time, using a section of hair from near the left side of your forehead. Wrap this around the back of your head so that it meets the other twist in the middle, and then pin it into place.

3

Final look.

Guess what? Your evening Grecian rope crown hairstyle is complete! And how easy was that?!
