Kate, what happened to your flowing locks?!

Kate Hudson is as much known for her hilarious roles in rom-coms as she is for her long blonde locks. So you can imagine our surprise when we learned that the actress has ditched her signature style for a buzzcut!

Joining the likes of Zoe Kravitz, Kristen Stewart and Keke Palmer, Kate Hudson is the latest star to join the buzzcut squad. Revealing her new look on Instagram, Kate has sent the internet ablaze with speculation regarding her new ‘do and, naturally, we had to do a little investigating of our own…

Bidding farewell to her long locks, the actress made the fierce fashion statement for a new secret movie project directed by none other than singer Sia, who she shouted out in her caption.

In the picture, the actress is captured from a distance gazing through a window with what looks like a brown buzzcut. It is speculated that Kate went for this dramatic transformation sometime last month and has been cleverly cropping her Instagram posts so her new ‘do wasn’t visible – cheeky!

While there is little information about this secret project and director debut by Sia, we believe (through our Instagram stalking) that it also stars Sia’s protegee Maddie Ziegler, plus actor and musician Leslie Odom Jr. Perhaps this could be a musical number? We can’t wait until more is revealed and of course, watch this space.
