Breaking hair news: Modern Family star Sarah Hyland may have had a major makeover! Recently, we reported that the star got a stunning, pristine-platinum hue, but now it seems she’s gone down a completely different colour route…
Taking to social media to debut the new look, the star revealed she has gone for a gorgeous shade of red — and we love it! The makeover also comes just in time for her upcoming role in Shadowhunters (and it might even remind you a little of Game of Thrones’ Khaleesi ), so go on, take a sneak peek for yourself!
Sarah Hyland just dyed her hair red for a new role — and she looks amazing!
The 26-year-old posted this unrecognisable picture of herself on Instagram, revealing she would be playing the Seelie Queen (the fairy queen), for her upcoming role in Shadowhunters. And as you can see, her blonde locks are no more!
Instead, the actress has a rich mix of cherry and spicy ginger tones running through the lengths of her beachy waves. She’s even worked in a few fashionable hidden braids into her ‘do, to give it an extra dose of woodland-fairy charm.
Now, is it just us or anyone else think that the Seelie Queen‘s locks look a little like GOT’s Khaleesi‘s (AKA the mother dragons and great hair)? And Sarah’s followers certainly agree, with some even commenting ‘She’s the redhead version of queen Khaleesi!’.
Editor’s tip: Tempted to go red? Opt for a wash and care duo that’s been specifically made with coloured hair in mind. We suggest trying the TRESemmé Colour Revitalise Protection Shampoo and Conditioner, as these will help to maintain your shade’s vibrancy for longer.
Now, it’s important to note that the star has only been spotted rocking this gorgeous hue on set. So, we’re not entirely sure if she’s dyed her hair red for good, or if it’s the work of a clever wig – whichever it may be, we adore it all the same.
If this gorgeous shade has got you lusting after more fiery looks, then you need to take a turn around our Red Hair page – it’s absolutely packed with sweet, sultry and sophisticated red hair colours to try.
