Zendaya’s transitioning hair journey
Taking to Instagram to show off her natural curls, hairstyle chameleon Zendaya posted the above selfie alongside the caption: “When you’ve spent the past however many years growing your damaged hair back, avoiding heat, wearing wigs and trying every natural product in the world and you finally see a little curl pattern comin back…??????”.
In the picture, it’s clear to see that Zendaya’s brunette hair is naturally curly and full of volume. Ooh la la! And as Zendaya suggests, when your hair becomes heat damaged, it can sometimes lose its natural curl formation.
If this is the case, and you want to help your mane return to its former curly state, then you need to help restore your strands and give them a break from heat styling. In the meantime, you can opt to style your hair into protective hairstyles, instead! Credit: @zendaya
