1. Alexa Chung’s tousled tresses
No matter the occasion, Alexa Chung always seems to get it right. Her effortless tousled waves are the envy of many (us included), so it came as no surprise to see her rocking her go-to style at Wimbledon this year.
Her light brown, medium-length tresses were styled into loose, undone waves complete with a retro split fringe for added style points!

Editor’s tip: We all love the effect that straighteners give, but don’t forget to protect your tresses before using any heat. We love the TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Heat Protection Shine Spray, as not only does it limit heat damage, it also seals in shine for a salon-sleek result.

Irish/Ethiopian actress Ruth Negga flew the flag for curly-haired girls this year, rocking her trademark cropped locks. Topping off her look with a Breton tee and swipe of red lipstick, we’re loving the Parisian girl vibes.
Editor’s tip: Fed up with frizz ruining your curls? Combing an oil (like the Toni&Guy Curl Lock Oil) through your hair when damp will help to define and separate your natural curls, while also keeping frizziness and flyaways at bay.

Making the most of our short but sweet British summer, American actress Uma Thurman kept cool this year in an all-white outfit, with her hair swept back into a classy updo.
Adding detail with braided bangs for a feminine touch, she showed that you don’t have to go OTT to nail Wimbledon style. Keep up the good work, Uma!
