Warning: major hair inspiration ahead!
Guess where the All Things Hair team went yesterday? To the VO5 x NME Awards nominations party, which we were kindly invited to — and it was incredible!
When we weren’t obsessing over the banging performance by The Big Moon, we were busy keeping an eye out for all the mane influencers that VO5 work with. And as you can imagine, we were seriously fan girling over their party hairstyles!
Intrigued to see? Here’s your exclusive sneak peek at the best mane moments from the party, plus your chance to learn the hair hacks these influencers swear by…
All the gorgeous mane looks we spotted at the VO5 x NME Awards nominations party
Chessie King’s look
To give her runway-approved ponytail extra charm, she also incorporated some wispy face-framing tendrils at the front and wrapped loose pieces of hair around her hairband to conceal it!
Chessie’s hair hack
“Always curl your hair before creating your ponytail. I used to curl it after, but a stylist told me that doing it before will give your hair extra volume and bounce”. Now that’s a trick we can all get on board with!
Editor’s tip: Want to know which product the lovely Chessie used to create her double tap-worthy mane? The VO5 Dry Texturising Spray, which will help give your mane the messy, tousled texture needed to create this flirty low ponytail.
Tia Ward’s look
Lifestyle blogger Tia Ward rocked up to the event (and slayed) with this fierce and fabulous textured pixie hairstyle, which stylist and VO5 Brand Ambassador Paul Donovan helped create. The best thing about her look? She’s showing us all how fun rocking short hair can be!
Paul Donovan’s hair hack
“Don’t be afraid to test out the men’s VO5 waxes! Whether you want texture, shine or a classic matt look, play around and see what works for you, because they are products anyone can use.” – Paul Donovan, stylist and VO5 Brand Ambassador.
Zoe London DJ’s look
We particularly love how she’s paired her bold, colourful blunt cut bob with a fedora, giving her look a seriously fashionable-edge. Yes, girl, yes!
The hair hack
“I am always looking at fashion week and catwalk styles for colour and style inspiration. Since I use straighteners to curl my hair a lot, I make sure to use a styling primer spray on my hair to help keep it protected!”.
Editor’s tip: Are you using a primer on your mane yet? If not, we suggest you give the VO5 Damage Protect Primer Spray a chance! Why? Because word on the street is that Zoe uses it, too!
