Variety Awards Nominees Brunch: The best hairstyles from the event
See which star's rocked the red carpet here...
Over the weekend, the Variety Awards Nominees Brunch took place in Los Angeles, and we spotted some familiar A-list faces on the red carpet. With celebrities like Sophie Turner and Thandie Newton in attendance, there were bound to be some glamorous ‘dos on offer from the event. So, of course, we’ve decided to do a round-up of our favourite looks from the brunch! See which hairstyles made the cut, below.
The best hairstyles from the Variety Awards Nominees Brunch
Sophie Turner
Last time Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner stepped out on the red carpet, we spotted her sporting an edgy spiky ponytail, but it seems that this time, she’s opted for something a little more low-key. Sophie’s undone, yet chic high bun is perfect for showing off her delicate earrings and detailed high-neckline dress.
Danielle Brooks
Orange Is The New Black star Danielle Brooks rocked faux locs (but with a twist!) at the Variety Awards Nominees Brunch. As well as styling her locs into a high side ponytail, she weaved a delicate gold chain near the front section of her updo, to add a little extra pizzazz!
Taryn Manning
Actress Taryn Manning wowed the crowd with her newly dyed pink tresses, and we have to admit: we’re loving this cotton candy-coloured hue!
Editor’s tip: If you’ve been tickled pink by Taryn’s new hair hue, and are considering dyeing your mane a similar shade, opt for a shampoo and conditioner duo that has been specially formulated for coloured hair, like the TRESemmé Colour Revitalise Shampoo and Conditioner.
Thandie Newton
British actress Thandie Newton is our go-to girl when it comes to black hairstyle inspiration. Over the years, she’s rocked straight and curly hair, as well as box braids. But for the Variety Awards Nominees Brunch, Thandie opted to style her curls into an off-centre pompadour. Maybe she’s drawing inspo from the pompadour queen Janelle Monae!
