Chocolate brown curls

Looking for a new colour to rock this sunshine season? Then why not consider going for a delicious chocolate brown hue? This rich shade, once favoured by Ms Williams, oozes timelessness and elegance, plus it’ll look great when the autumnal months roll around, too.

The tennis star’s hair colour change from very dark brown to this slightly warmer hue is subtle yet effective, not to mention it perfectly flatters her complexion as well.

Wavy, asymmetrical lob

Off of the tennis court, Serena Williams is still winning with this hairstyle. This wavy lob (AKA long bob) nicely complements her fuller face by helping to frame it while also adding definition.

And if you look closely, you’ll even notice that her cut is slightly asymmetrical, which is a great way of adding a touch of edginess to this somewhat prim ‘do.

Straight and sleek hair

Nothing oozes glamour like a straight and sleek hairdo. So, if you have a sophisticated soirée to attend, just take a leaf out of Serena Williams’ book and keep it simple with pin-straight tresses.

Now, before you straighten your locks, just remember to apply the right products to achieve optimum results.

Editor’s tip: We suggest using a heat protectant like the TIGI Catwalk Blow Out Balm. it has an intense conditioning formula, which will help you achieve beautifully smooth, glossy hair while protecting against heat up to 230 ⁰C. Now, that’s what we call multifunctional!

Pretty updo

Because it’s such a pretty and practical option, you’d be hard pressed to find someone who doesn’t love a good updo! To nail one like Serena Williams’ (above), lightly curl your tresses for an ultra-romantic feel.

And the best part is, contrary to popular belief, you don’t need lengthy locks to ace this look! Just make sure you have plenty of bobby pins handy to help you win this hair game!

Blonde twist-out

Out of all of her amazing off-duty hairstyles, we love this one the most! Why, you ask? Because Serena Williams rocks 2 of our favourite looks at the same time: blonde hair and twist-out curls!

Ladies with darker complexions should opt for richer, warmer blondes that have caramel-like tones, and keep darker roots. To perfect your twist-out, check out MiniMarley12’s step-by-step tutorial!
