San Diego Comic-Con 2017: All the celeb hairstyles you need to see
Who would've suspected a comic book convention could be so stylish?! ?
This weekend, San Diego played host to the world renowned Comic-Con International Festival, where comic book, sci-fi and gaming fans come together to share their passion. Now, for any hair styling enthusiasts, know that this fantastical festival is the place to be to spot some incredible ‘dos!
As well as all of the character cos players dressed to the nines, a host of Hollywood veterans and new-gen up-and-comers also made their annual appearance. As such, this year’s convention was a hotbed of on-trend, red carpet styles that were in a league of their own!

Brianne Howey
We won’t lie: it took us a while to recognise 28-year-old Brianne Howey when we first saw this photo! We’re used to seeing the Exorcist and Scream Queens star sporting long, creamy blonde hair, so to say we were surprised to see her rocking a dark brunette pixie cut would be a bit of an understatement!
However, now that the initial shock factor has faded, we’ve completely fallen for her edgy new crop. And thanks to her bold, Cara Delevingne-esque brows she can totally pull it off!

Kit Reeve
Proving that a micro fringe is all you need to take your hair from ordinary to extraordinary is Medinah actress Kit Reeve!
We love the way that her short, choppy fringe adds an alternative feel to her simple shoulder-length cut and combined with her bold liner and nose ring, she’s got cool-girl style down to a T.
Katherine McNamara
As if we weren’t already obsessed enough with Maze Runner star Katherine McNamra’s strawberry blonde strands, she wowed at the festival with her fiery locks styled into gorgeously glossy waves.
Rather than tight, spiral curls, she opted for a more effortless, tousled look, for a style that strikes just the right balance between casual and red carpet-worthy.

Margaret Qualley
The daughter of Four Weddings and a Funeral star Andie MacDowell, Margaret Qualley looks set to become a star in her own right, with this slick half-up, half-down ‘do.
With her charming, effortless-looking waves and rich chestnut hue, she’s a true natural beauty, proving that you don’t have to go OTT with the hair and make-up.
Angela Sarafyan
Armenian/American beauty Angela Sarafyan, star of HBO’s Westworld, looked sensational with her dark hair swept off her face into this quirky, rockabilly-inspired updo.
A welcome change from the usual slick-back buns, this funky look was one of our faves from the festival. There’s certainly nothing robotic about this ‘do, Clem! ?
Eliza Coupe
If you’re currently rocking a lovely lob-length cut, and are stuck for styling ideas, take some style inspo from Future Man star and Scrubs alumni Eliza Coupe with her edgy, braided faux undercut.
Rocking this clever style like a total pro, Eliza has left half of her creamy blonde hair to flow free, while the other half has been woven into 2 mini French braids. The result? A faux undercut effect, with a pretty-yet-punky cornrow twist.
Editor’s tip: Fancy giving Eliza’s braided undercut a try? To make it easier to create your cornrows, start by spritzing the section of hair you plan to braid with a sea salt spray, such as the TIGI Catwalk Salt Spray.

Instead, the 29-year-old wore her natural hair in a towering ninja bun top knot, which, paired with her seriously-radiant skin, made for the ultimate red carpet look. You’d think this was the Oscars, not Comic-Con!
Olivia Taylor Dudley
Olivia Taylor Dudley was at Comic-Con to promote season 3 of The Magicians, so naturally she had a pretty magical hairdo to boot. Sprucing up a chic ponytail with an intricate parting plait, we can’t wait to give this simple-yet-stylish ‘do a try!
