Rochas’ curly fringes stole our hearts at Paris Fashion Week

Straight fringes are so last season, darling.

Paris Fashion Week SS17 may be coming to a close, but the incredible hairstyles keep on coming from the final shows of the season! One look that’s made an impression on pretty much the whole fashion world (and us) is the curly fringe hairstyle seen over at the Rochas spring/summer 2017 show.

Admittedly, we were a little dubious when we heard the words ‘curly’ and ‘fringe’ together, but after taking a butchers at the models on the runway, it all made sense.

So, to take a look at the quirky styling from the Rochas SS17 show, simply click through our gallery above, or scroll down for our full runway report.

So, just what was all the fuss about, you ask? Well, this fringe is the perfect marriage between contemporary-cool and retro-glam, drawing #hairspiration from the great 1950s pinup, Bettie Page.

And on that note, we have to give the hairstylists behind the scenes of the Rochas show a big round of applause, because these curly fringes are just banging beautiful!

But what makes this runway style so great, is that since it’s all about curling your fringe, it can be rocked no matter the length of your hair. So, whether you have longshort, or even medium-length tresses, pretty much anyone can work this trend like a pro.

Psst… To really nail this look, all you need is the help of some trusty curling irons or rollers – no master styling class required!

Editor’s tip: Curls this statement need extra hold, so if you’re going to give it a try we suggest starting out with the VO5 Curl Defining Mousse.

This mousse helps to create bouncy, frizz-free curls and also contains heat defence- making it the ideal choice if you’re going to be using a curling wand or tong to add in your curls.
