Thanks to her roles in The Walking Dead and now Black Panther, Danai Gurira is the name on everyone’s lips. If you’ve seen the film already (don’t worry, no spoilers here!), then you’ll know that Danai rocks an allover shaved look in her role as the fierce general Okoye.

We’re not sure if Lupita Nyong’o was trying to make a subtle hint to the academy for next year’s awards by dressing up as an actual Oscar, but hey, she pulls it off!
The actress tied in her golden gown by adding shimmering golden thread through her pompadour updo to complete this sparkling style.
Salma Hayek’s braided updo
Salma Hayek brought the romantic vibes with this loose, braided updo. With such a heavily embellished dress and showstopping jewellery, she could have easily overdone it with the hair but by keeping it understated and romantic, it balances out perfectly.

Birmingham native Felicity Jones flew the flag for the UK at the Oscars 2017. She graced the red carpet looking like a real-life fairy, thanks to her stunning embellished Dior gown!
