1. Wavy faux bob

Want to bring the glitz and glam of New Year’s Eve to your party look? Well, to really put on a performance, why not switch up your long locks in favour of a wavy bob?

But don’t fret: you won’t need to chop off your hair in order to pull off this cropped ‘do. Instead, just check out our step-by-step tutorial on how to rock a faux bob, right here!

Hair accessories and sequins are optional, but strongly advised!

2. Bouffant updo

Feel like taking your hair to new heights? Well, now you can, with this sky-high, vintage-inspired bouffant updo.

Featuring a voluminous, teased top, and a face-framing fringe, it’s the perfect ‘do for any retro-themed party coming your way!

Editor’s tip: If you want to create even more height during the backcombing process, first spritz your mane with the VO5 Dry Backcomb Spray, as it’ll help ramp up the volume of your tresses and give them a plumped-up effect. And be sure to set your look with the TIGI Catwalk Work It Hairspray, as this will help your ‘do stay wobble-free!

3. Nice and natural

If you’ve been blessed with gorgeous natural hair, then embrace it this NYE! All you have to do to achieve a stunning party hairstyle is fluff your curls out with an afro comb and place a metallic party hat over your ‘do.

To complete your look, simply throw on a pair of bedazzling droplet earrings, and you’ll be ready to hit the town!

4. Party pineapple

You may think that the pineapple is too ‘everyday’ to be rocked at a NYE party, but in reality, it makes the ideal choice! This larger-than-life hairstyle is perfect for you ladies with afro curls and has the added bonus of only taking a matter of seconds to whip up.

Just slip a large hairband over your ‘fro and push it 3-4 inches back – ensure that it has smoothed down the front section of your hair, while the rest of your mane is left puffed out!

The deep side parting and soft, glossy waves make this timeless style ideal for any fancy New Year’s Eve soiree!
