A stylish lob

We’ve had the bob, the A-line bob and now we have the long bob (AKA the lob). Yet while the lob has been popular for the past few season, we’re expecting to see a lot more of it for 2017, too!

Not only is a lob the perfect hairstyle for any of you commitment-phobes out there, but it can also be rocked in a number of different ways, too – so you don’t have to worry about being short of inspiration. So, if you’re sold on the idea of getting a long bob for yourself, take a look at the celebs rocking it best, right here!

Long wavy curls

With the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2016 paving the way for au natural tresses on the runway, it should come as no surprise that we’ve seen a spike in the number of women embracing their natural hair! And if you’re lucky enough to be working with curly and long locks, you’ll be pleased to know, you’ll be the envy of women the world over.

We can’t express the amount of love we have for this look, as it combines long curls with a casual element, in contrast to the tight and neatly coiled locks seen throughout 2016. So, to really amp up your mane, we suggest spritzing it with the Toni&Guy Casual Sea Salt Texturising Spray, for a truly lived-in finish!

The sleek bob

Just like it’s longer length cousin, the bob is set to reign supreme on the style scene once again this year! And while we know rocking a bob is a bold move to make, trust us when we say: you won’t regret it. Season after season, the bob tops every trend list, seamlessly evolving and flattering in one fell swoop!

So, you’re probably wondering what the bob hairstyle for 2017 is, right? Well, feast your eyes on this sleek and chic cut, which is all about maintaining a refined and shiny finish! But if that was enough for you, you could even take it one step further by opting for a set of blunt bangs to boot, for an ultra fashion-forward look.

The middle part

When we think of a middle parting, we often think back to being at school, but this year, it’s making a seriously big comeback! For years, side partings have been seen as the only acceptable style for our manes, so this retrospective take on the look is more than welcome.

Seen all over the autumn/winter 2016 runways, this could be the ideal style for you if you don’t want to commit to cutting your tresses! And not only is it a super simple and cost effective way to work your strands for the season ahead, but it also adds volume and symmetry to your look, too.

Now, these are just a few of our favourite looks that are sure to be a hit for 2017, but if it was something a little more innovative you were after, why not check out our New Hairstyles page? From red carpet looks to runway sensations, we have all the latest styles from the hair world.
