Bob & bangs

We all know that bob and bangs are fast becoming the 2018 hairstyle you need to be wearing (especially if you want to get those IG likes).

Bringing the cult fave look to the streets of Milan, this stylish cropped cut looks modern (and super trendy) when teamed with a micro fringe.

Editor’s tip: Give your tresses amped up texture and an undone finish with the VO5 Dry Texturising Spray. Use on dry hair to revive tresses and, for added root lift, spray into roots and tousle with your fingers.

Slanted fringe

From micro to Birkin, bangs are undoubtedly the coolest way to update your look this year, but slanted fringes, we have to admit, is also a new style for us.

Anyone who has tried to trim their own fringe will know, slanted fringes are not exactly the desired outcome, but at least if that ever happens to you again you can say it’s all in the name of fashion, darling.

Pantone approved ombre

There was plenty of bold hues causing a stir at Milan Fashion Week and kicking things off is this purple ombre.

After Pantone revealed violet as their colour of the year, the high street immediately jumped on board and ensured all the new season styles adorned the hue. But to make things more interesting, we think it’s far more fun adding the colour to our hair.

Neapolitan hair

Nothing screams summer more than ice cream, right? And since we’re total ice cream addicts here in the ATH office, you can imagine how much we love this Neapolitan-inspired hue.

Melting from a buttery yellow to a pastel pink, this ombre colour combination is a dreamy match made in heaven.

Long Rapunzel hair

While it seems like everyone around us is opting to cut their tresses shorter and shorter, the number of stylish ladies doing the exact opposite has also risen.

And this fashion-forward Milan Fashion Week attendee’s hair is the ideal example: we love how she’s fashioned her Rapunzel-length locks into a sleek low ponytail and paired the look with a statement hair accessory.

This practical, elegant hairstyle is timeless, low maintenance, and super chic – what more could you want from a look?

Copper red hair

Seeing as the hygge hair trend has started taking hold in the beauty world, opting for bold copper red shades seems to be the way forward. While it’s a pretty striking look to pull off, we’re sure you’ll agree, that it really flatters this fashionista’s porcelain complexion!

So, when it comes to fashionable hues, this head-turning shade should be your choice for the season ahead. Trust us: with this Jessica Rabbit-inspired hue, you’ll be sure to turn heads wherever you go!
