SZA’s boho hair
Lucky enough to rock Rapunzel-worthy curls? Well, SZA‘s totally got your festival hair covered with this boho-chic hairstyle, which perfectly spotlights cute coils and baby braids.
Whether you rock a celestial headpiece is all up to you, but one thing’s for sure: you’ll seriously be selfie-ready. Thanks for the inspo, S!
Editor’s tip: For a glossy finish, we suggest you apply a few drops of the TONI&GUY High Shine Serum Drops throughout your mane.

Hailey Baldwin’s pink lob
If you’ve been paying attention to the runways and red carpets this season, you’ll know that there’s been a renewed love for pink hair. So, when we saw Hailey Baldwin sporting it for the event, we couldn’t help but swoon!
The best way to rock pretty pastel hair this spring/summer? With a classic flower hair accessory, of course!

Blake Lively’s messy bun
When you’re bored of wearing your sleek top knot, simply give it a messy upgrade like Blake Lively (we’ll give you bonus points if you pair it with a luxe hair accessory, too).
Plus, if it’s good enough for Blake Lively, Meghan Markle and Chanel, it’s good enough for us!

Zendaya’s Joan of Arc bob + micro fringe
Let’s face it, Zendaya‘s mane game is always on point – and last night was certainly no exception. The star graced the Met Gala red carpet with an effortlessly chic wavy bob, complete with a micro fringe, giving the look a tonne of Joan of Arc vibes.

Met Gala hair 2017: The best-tressed celebrities

Kim Kardashian West’s sleek lob
Mirror mirror on the wall, who has the sleekest hair at the Met ball? Kim Kardashian West of course! The star attended the exclusive event with a pin-straight, glossy long bob hairstyle, created by celebrity hairstylist Michael Silva.

Brie Larson’s gold hair foiling
The Met Gala gives attendees the opportunity to pull out all the stops and shine their brightest. And Brie Larson did just that, arriving head-to-toe in a shimmering gold leaf ensemble.
For the event, half of her tresses were slicked back and adorned with metallic foil, while the rest was left in loose, sweeping waves, making for an unbeatable style combo!

Cara Delevingne’s silver buzz cut
British model-turned-actress Cara Delevingne channelled major robot vibes with this daring, silver spray painted look, which also featured a few Swarovski crystals!
Having already proved to us that buzz cut hair is anything but boring, Cara took her mane game up a notch and totally stole the show with this bold, glittering look.

Lily Collins’ Betty Boop-inspired cut
Betty Boop, is that you?! Actress Lily Collins graced the red carpet by showcasing a dark, blunt cut bob with sharp micro bangs. This sleek, vintage hairstyle is a major throw back to Betty Boops’ trademark look, and we simply adore it.
Pairing her neat cut with bold eyebrows, mega lashes and a deep purple lip, Lily worked this dramatic look with total ease, making us all very envious of her sultry style.

Rihanna’s top knot
Rihanna owned the Met Gala red carpet on Monday night, sticking to the theme in a Rei Kawakubo-designed floral Comme des Garcons dress. The beauty complemented her fairy-like outfit by styling her brunette tresses into a modern top knot and rocking romantic feathery bangs. Ooh la la!
Psst! If you want to try a fringe yourself, without the long-term commitment, give our faux bangs tutorial a go. Injecting some je ne sais quoi into your hair is a piece of cake, if you know how!

Thandie Newton’s floral updo
Bringing more flowers to the table was Thandie Newton, who is clearly a fan of larger-than-life hair accessories, having donned a giant floral headpiece at last night’s event.
Styling her long hair into a messy high bun, Thandie decorated her simple updo with flowers for a Carmen Miranda-inspired look. We don’t know about you, but we’re stealing this one for our next festival!

Zendaya’s beautiful afro
It’s no secret that natural hair textures dominated this fashion and bridal season. And Zendaya’s Met Gala hair (whether it’s real or faux!), proves that going au naturel with your mane is pretty and powerful.
We particularly love how the singer paired her stunning, voluminous afro with beautiful bangs and reckon Diana Ross would totally approve!
Editor’s tip: Want your ‘fro to look star-worthy? Enlist the help of a leave-in conditioner, like the TIGI S-Factor Papaya Leave-In Moisture Spray, to keep your mane in tip-top shape for your next party!

Hailey Baldwin’s hairnet
While a bun updo may be the ultimate lazy girl hairstyle, that’s not to say it can’t be rocked on the red carpet, too! To refine any bun hairstyle, simply opt for an embellished hairnet accessory a la Hailey Baldwin, and you’ll take your look from sofa-slob to Meta Gala princess in seconds.

Rita Ora’s short funky hair
Rita Ora’s avant-garde platinum crop totally lived up to the Met Gala’s eccentric theme. The star complemented her funky, short textured ‘do by wearing a scarlet red Marchesa satin gown, with a bold crimson lip to match. It’s a rather daring and directional look, but Rita pulls it off beautifully!
