Mel B dark brown ombre short hair

Mel B’s latest hair transformation will Spice Up Your Life!

We will let you be the judge of Mel B's new hair.

We can barely keep up with the many hairstyles Mel B has been sporting lately. We’re talking fun rainbow hues to a fiery red mohawk — and that is all in the last few weeks! So when we spotted the America’s Got Talent judge with yet another new hue, we had to take notice.

Mel B’s latest hair transformation has set the internet ablaze and once you have seen her new bold look, you will understand why.

Mel B’s new hair transformation may be her boldest look yet

Debuting her new look on her Instagram account, the former Spice Girls singer showed off her new hair colour with a sassy video.

Her new platinum blonde hair colour is a far cry from her naturally dark brown hue and we think it looks fantastic on the singer — after all, if anyone can pull off a strong bold hue like this it’s Scary Spice.

Editor’s tip: If you’re thinking of following in Mel B’s footsteps and trying a platinum blonde look, we suggest switching your current wash and care system to one formulated especially for blonde tresses in mind. We love the TIGI Catwalk Fashionista Blonde Shampoo and Conditioner for keeping blonde tresses looking wonderfully bright.

Not just content with a whole new bold colour, though, Mel B added tons of length to her hair using extensions which worked as the perfect canvas for her new blonde hue. Sweeping her blonde locks over to the side, the look was finished with a generous sprinkling of blue glitter — looking magical, Mel!

The former Spice Girl isn’t the only one to opt for this Targaryen-esque style recently (Kim Kardashian and Solange Knowles, we’re looking at you) so you know it’s a hot-to-trot look to try! But if it’s not quite your cup of tea, there are tonnes of other celebrity transformations and colour crazes to see over on our Hair Trends page.
