Prepare to Marvel at these stunning hairstyles!

If you’re as much a Marvel fan as we are, then you will be joining us in our countdown to the 18th August (AKA the release date of the eagerly awaited The Defenders movie). The TV series will unite all our cherished Marvel superheroes to stop a new villain (who will it be?!) from destroying New York City.

But until then, we have to make do with the premiere of the Netflix show, which was held in New York last night. And as you can imagine, there was a host of stunning hairstyles on offer from our favourite off-screen superhero actresses – take a look!

Our favourite looks from the Marvel’s The Defenders premiere

Krysten Ritter’s curly tresses

Krysten Ritter is renowned for her role as Jessica Jones, the superhero who possesses superhuman strength in the hit show of the same name.

However, her look for the premiere was more Jessica Rabbit than Jessica Jones, thanks to her gorgeous glossy black curly tresses, bold red lip colour and sequin red dress. Utterly mesmerising, no?

TONI&GUY High Shine Serum Drops

Editor’s tip: To give your curly tresses a frizz-free and shimmering finish, simply apply a few drops of the Toni&Guy High Shine Serum Drops through the lengths of your hair. Now pose for the cameras, you hair styling hero!

Simone Missick’s high ponytail

We barely recognized Simone Missick without the curly tresses she wears for her role as Misty Knight in Luke Cage. Ditching her curly mane for a smooth high ponytail, Simone finished the look with a large, twisted curl on the end of her ponytail, for a simple yet glam-chic ‘do!

Elodie Yung wears her dark tresses in a textured bouffant swept back updo worn with black dress with sheer detailing

Elodie Yung’s chic bouffant

Elodie Yung, known for her role as Elektra Natchios in Marvel’s Daredevil, went for a chic, undone bouffant for the premiere of The Defenders.

Elodie took full advantage of the red carpet opportunity to rock a glamorous updo, ensuring that her mane had tonnes of texture and allowing loose strands fall perfectly around her face, drawing attention to her killer cheekbones!

VO5 Wave Creation Hairspray

Editor’s tip: Want to steal Elodie’s look? Then seal your style with a generous spritz of the VO5 Wave Creation Hairspray, which will give your mane a natural-looking, textured finish.

Jessica Henwick wears her dark tresses in a side parting and swept back in a smooth finish the look is finished with a one shoulder black dress

Jessica Henwick’s smooth side part

Keeping her look simple, Jessica Henwick (AKA Colleen Wing in The Defenders) opted for a smooth and elegant style for the premiere. Going for a precise parting and smoothing the hair down her back, the look highlights Jessica’s flawless makeup and dazzling accessories.
