Lily Collins wows on the red carpet with bright red hair
And here's how to get her sassy new look!
It’s safe to say that actress Lily Collins has tried every shade of brown under the sun, so you can imagine we were pretty surprised by her latest hair hue. The mega babe’s brunette hair is no more, as the star recently stepped out sporting a fiery red bob – and looked absolutely fierce.
Lily Collins is now a fiery red head
On Instagram, she spoke out about her brave hair change with the caption: “Fueling the fire within. Red hair don’t care #TimeForAChange.” And also later wrote: “Too many colours in the rainbow to stay the same.” We totally agree, Lily! And wonder what colour will be next…
And while her new hue is pretty bold, Lily Collins also likes to experiment with hairstyles, as we’ve seen her wearing many different ‘dos in the past, from a sweet pixie crop to feminine long locks.
Currently flaunting a long bob with minimal layers, she stepped out on the red carpet yesterday, showcasing her shiny, fiery tresses, and proving in the process that a bright hair colour pairs perfectly with bold brows and a sexy nude lip. With a wavy yet sleek style, she opted for a deep side parting, and to finish the look, she tucked one side of her red mane behind her ear.
Steal Lily’s look
To recreate Lily Collins’ glamorous ‘do, start by spritzing your dry hair with some VO5 Smoothly Does It Heat Protect Spray to help smooth down any flyaways and protect your locks from heat damage.
Then take the TONI&GUY Glamour Jumbo Tong to create waves (the bigger the barrel, the looser they will be), and wrap 2-3 inches of hair around it for 5-10 seconds. Repeat the process with the rest of your tresses, making sure you curl each section in the same direction to copy Lily’s effortlessly chic ‘do.
Once you’ve curled all of your hair, spray some TONI&GUY Glamour Firm Hold Hairspray over your waves to help set them in place. Then finish with a generous dose of TIGI Bed Head Headrush Shine Hairpsray, which will help to leave a beautiful shine on your hair without weighing it down.
