Lauren Conrad just cut her hair short, so now obviously we want to cut our hair short too
Feel the rain on your skin...
It may be over 10 years now since The Hills first aired, but our love for LC (that’s Lauren Conrad, for all you non-Hills addicts) remains as strong as ever.
The reality TV alumni, fashion designer and new mother has been the hair envy of many thanks to her long, California-blonde hair. But you might remember that just last month we shared the (rather shocking) news that Lauren had her long hair cut off live on Instagram stories…
Since then, she’s been rocking a tousled wavy lob look, but just when we’d got used to that length, she’s now gone even shorter!
This new chin-length bob might be her shortest look since, well, ever actually, but she looks so stunning with it that it’s gone straight into our top 5 LC looks of all time. Yep, big claims but we think they’re justified! See what you think, below.
All we want for Christmas is hair like Lauren Conrad’s – She’s gone even shorter & it looks uh-mazing!
Lauren debuted her super short ‘do at the launch of the Kellogg’s cafe in New York City. A blunt, chin-length cut, the 31-year-old wore her hair parted slightly off-centre and tucking one side back behind her ear, creating an angled A-line effect.
The lifestyle blogger also shared her new look with fans on her Instagram, this time styling her new cut over to one side with a deep side parting, adding an ultra relaxed wave to the style.
Lauren and husband William Tell welcomed their son, Liam James, in July, so this mum-friendly look will certainly be a lot easier to maintain and style than her longer hair! Plus, she still manages to give it her trademark Cali girl touch with her sunkissed blonde hue and sandy beach waves.
Steal Lauren’s look: If you’re rocking a bob too and want to know how you can emulate Lauren’s perfectly-undone style, sea salt spray is the key.
Spritz some of the TIGI Catwalk Salt Spray through your lengths, then scrunch in with your hands to add body and enhance any natural waves or movement. Alternatively, use after curling with a wand to provide a light, natural hold.
Rewind: Did you see when Lauren got a haircut live on Instagram Stories?
It was back in November that Lauren first started her journey to short hair. Sharing sneak peeks on Instagram Stories during the process, she later shared the final result in the photo above. Missed it? Let us bring you up to speed…
In early November, Lauren posted a series of 2 shots of her hair makeover to her Instastories. In the first we saw her long blonde hair tied in a low ponytail, with a stylist holding scissors to her lengths ready to snip… Credit: @laurenconrad
…Then, showing off the results of her cut, she shared the before and after shot with the caption “?? bye!”. Credit: @laurenconrad
